




Description: * Education: Bachelor's degree in Pedagogy. * Postgraduate studies: In a field relevant to the position (e.g., school management). * English: Fluent. * Minimum Experience: 3 years of documented teaching experience or 2 years of documented pedagogical leadership experience. Essential Knowledge* Active learning methodologies. * Brazilian National Common Curriculum Base (BNCC). * Statute of Children and Adolescents (ECA). * Law of Guidelines and Bases of Education (LDB). * Municipal and state regulations. * Positive discipline. * Strategic planning methods. Pedagogical and Curricular Management* Review and propose improvements to the team’s lesson planning, with a focus on the Maple Bear methodology. * Develop and monitor the implementation of learning assessment tools. * Ensure the team remains updated on program developments and new pedagogical practices. * Organize pedagogical support activities (Support, Bridges, Math Support). * Coordinate, in partnership with school leadership, the development of the academic calendar. * Develop and monitor, together with teachers, Individualized Teaching Plans (ITPs). Leadership and Team Development* Evaluate the performance of all teachers and assistants and develop Individual Development Plans (IDPs). * Organize formative pedagogical meetings. * Frequently observe classes, providing feedback to teachers and assistants to model best practices. * Create mechanisms for team engagement and motivation. * Participate, alongside school leadership and HR, in hiring and/or dismissal processes for the pedagogical team. * Organize the pedagogical team’s weekly schedule. Student and Family Relations* Collaborate with Student Counseling to design and implement student and family orientation and adaptation processes for new students. * Monitor and manage critical absenteeism cases in coordination with families and competent authorities. * Receive prospective parents, presenting the school and the Maple Bear methodology. * Conduct meetings with students’ multidisciplinary teams. * Draft and communicate general school notices to parents and staff, and respond to inquiries. * Observe and monitor student development in the classroom. * Supervise student arrival and departure procedures in accordance with safety regulations. 251218020255534657
