Assist the driver in the driving and operation of the vehicle, collaborating in all stages of the logistics process, from loading to final delivery, preserving fruit quality and ensuring safety, efficiency, and punctuality of deliveries. The driver's assistant must attend customers attentively, courteously, and professionally. It is their responsibility to contribute to the organization and cleanliness of the vehicle, ensuring its proper maintenance. 1\. Assist the driver in route planning and vehicle operation, observing traffic conditions and safety regulations to ensure traffic safety and prevent possible violations whenever on the road. 2\. Carry out loading and unloading of goods carefully and diligently, following safety procedures and proper handling of equipment or machinery, to ensure deliveries meet the company's operational standards, preserve fruit quality, and protect physical integrity, preventing accidents whenever deliveries occur. 3\. Assist in verifying products delivered to customers according to invoice and order information, checking quantity, quality, type, ripeness, and other details, to ensure inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies, performed daily as scheduled. 4\. Prepare goods for the next day’s customer deliveries by sorting and organizing items according to orders and delivery schedules, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to customers on a daily basis. 5\. Collect and control the movement of empty plastic crates from customers, recording the data in the crate tracking system to prevent losses or theft and maintain proper tracking records on a daily basis. 6\. Monitor fruit damages at customer locations, collecting, weighing, and entering the data into the damage control system, to enable effective management of damage volume and support strategic decisions for damage reduction, performed daily. 7\. Assist in organizing, maintaining, servicing, and cleaning the vehicle both inside and outside, keeping it always clean, well-maintained, and ready for use, ensuring proper operating conditions daily as per schedule. 8\. Perform minor repairs and preventive maintenance on the vehicle under the driver's guidance, checking operational conditions such as tire pressure, water and oil levels, lights, signals, headlights, turn indicators, and other components, to ensure optimal and safe operating conditions daily, following company protocols. 9\. Attend customers and company partners politely and professionally, listening to and addressing their requests, providing clear and concise information and resolving inquiries promptly, to ensure excellent service, effective communication, and customer satisfaction whenever interacting with clients. 10\. Record all important information or incidents related to trips and deliveries, logging these details in appropriate spreadsheets or systems (logbooks), to generate data and keep the company's control and management systems updated for strategic decision-making, completed after each trip/delivery. 11\. Ensure the safety, integrity, and quality of goods throughout transportation, maintaining products under ideal and necessary storage conditions to guarantee high-quality deliveries that match customer orders, performed daily. 12\. Comply with workplace and traffic safety regulations, performing all tasks in strict adherence to safety rules to prevent risks of accidents to oneself, others, and company property, carried out daily. 13\. Ensure proper disposal of materials and waste generated by the department through correct classification, separation, and disposal methods, to comply with environmental protection laws, performed daily according to internal company protocols. 14\. Maintain good relationships and interactions with other team members and immediate supervisors through respect, open dialogue, constructive feedback, courtesy, and cooperation, to ensure a harmonious, healthy, and productive work environment continuously.
