Focus on quality and safety Assist in performing general carpentry tasks at construction sites, cutting, assembling, installing, and repairing structures and wooden/metal components using manual and mechanical tools to fabricate building assemblies or components, or to perform maintenance thereof. **Responsibilities and Duties** Tasks: 1\- Select appropriate materials for task execution, ensuring work quality according to location and intended use; 2\- Assist in marking components by measuring and scribing wood to required dimensions and sizes for cutting, as instructed; 3\- Fabricate component parts per instructions, performing operations with manual or mechanical tools such as planes, saws, chisels, gouges, drills, and others to obtain components necessary for structure assembly; 4\- Assist in assembling wooden components by fitting and securing them with screws or nails, and also lubricate internal formwork surfaces with form release agents to achieve the designed assembly; 5\- Assist in installing, maintaining, and dismantling safety protections such as guardrails, trays, horizontal and vertical protective barriers, among others; 6\- Assist in installing and maintaining structural components such as formwork, shoring, pre-beam assembly, and concreting, etc.; 7\- Assist in installing, maintaining, and dismantling structural components such as formwork, shoring, pre-beam assembly, and concreting, among others, always adhering to company quality and safety standards; 8\- Sharpen cutting tools as instructed, using grinding wheels, files, or sharpening stones to improve their performance; 9\- Collaborate in cleaning and organizing the worksite; 10\- Perform tasks in accordance with company occupational health and safety policies and procedures, and quality standards. **Additional Information** Operational Since 1970, when a young engineer decided to found Plaenge, our purpose has always been clear: **to be a solid, ethical company with real impact on people's lives.** More than 55 years later, we are proud of what we have built: projects transforming cities, relationships grounded in respect and trust, and a team growing alongside our history.
