Job Summary: A Production Operator monitors computer systems and industrial equipment, performs process control, adjusts machinery, and ensures production quality and safety, contributing to operational efficiency and continuous improvement. Contribute to productivity, quality, and safety Operate computer systems monitoring the operation of machines, equipment, and field instruments, verifying equipment functionality to ensure productivity, quality, and safety; Perform production process control within one's assigned area; Assist in controlling the production process by dosing chemical inputs, operating equipment, pumps, and other process units; Adjust equipment to the production process, overseeing maintenance activities on machines and equipment. Operate the industry’s control system via computers; Operate equipment such as pumps, fermenters, heat exchangers, redlers, and other equipment constituting the area; Assist in analyzing and preparing daily occurrence logs, equipment downtime reports, production reports, and quality reports, aiming to identify deviations from production standards and implement appropriate corrective actions; Interpret production orders, change programs, and adjust machine and process parameters; Communicate information to other team members—both those on the same shift and others—verbally and in writing; Ensure completion of all stipulated production activities; Cover for Senior COI Operators when necessary; Identify causes of equipment malfunction and arrange for prompt repairs; Assess the condition of machines, equipment, components, and tools used in the production process, reporting issues to maintain planned productivity; Contribute ideas for new operational methodologies and procedures to enhance production effectiveness and improvement; Measure chemical dosages and collect samples, if required; Read process parameters and record data in established checklists, reports, and forms; Monitor quality, sanitation, and process parameters, as well as perform physicochemical analyses; Clean and maintain parts, tools, and equipment used, ensuring correct usage; Perform equipment repairs during scheduled shutdowns designated for this purpose; Assist in corrective maintenance of machines, motors, and industrial equipment, supporting mechanics in assembly and disassembly tasks for general machines and motors; Carry out cleaning and organization of work areas; Perform tasks of equivalent complexity level upon request by the immediate supervisor; Carry out job duties while strictly adhering to all organizational safety, health, and environmental regulations and procedures, and consistently using all mandatory personal protective equipment (PPE) required for performing job and area-related tasks.
