We seek a professional with a strong analytical and technical profile to work at the Power Generation Plants Operations Center (hydropower, wind, and solar), contributing to increased operational efficiency of processes and systems, generation reliability, and decision-making support through project management, programming, process automation, analytics applications, machine learning, AI, and other technology tools focused on planning and operations management of electric power generation facilities. **Responsibilities and Duties** **Operational and Analytical Project Management** * Plan, execute, and monitor projects aimed at operation, monitoring, and optimization of power generation * Manage scope, timelines, costs, risks, and performance indicators (KPIs) * Prepare managerial, technical, and executive reports to support decision-making * Support standardization of operational and analytical processes at the Operations Center * Comply with regulatory and normative requirements of the electricity sector **Operational Process Automation** * Map Operations Center processes and identify automation opportunities * Develop automated routines for collection, processing, and consolidation of operational data from power plants * Automate operational controls, performance indicator calculations, and report generation * Integrate data from different systems (SCADA, operational databases, corporate systems) **Programming and Data Analysis** * Develop scripts and applications for analysis of generation, availability, performance, and operational constraints data * Conduct exploratory and diagnostic analyses of operational data * Build dashboards and analytical reports for real-time and historical monitoring * Ensure quality, traceability, and governance of operational data **Machine Learning, AI, and Advanced Analytics** * Develop and apply machine learning and AI models for: * Generation forecasting (hydrological, wind, and solar) * Predictive detection of operational failures * Support for prevention of human errors * Optimization of operational processes * Monitor model performance and propose continuous improvements * Translate analytical results into actionable insights for operations and planning **Requirements and Qualifications** **Mandatory** * Knowledge of Project Management (traditional, agile, or hybrid) * Experience with programming languages (preferably Python) * Experience in process automation (scripts, ETL, automated routines) * Knowledge of data analysis, statistics, and analytics * Practical or theoretical knowledge of machine learning and AI. * Ability to prepare technical and managerial reports **Desirable** * Knowledge of the electricity sector, especially power generation * Familiarity with operation of: * Hydropower plants * Wind power plants * Solar power plants * Knowledge of key operational regulations for power generation (ONS / ANEEL) * Experience with databases and SQL * Knowledge of BI tools (Power BI, Tableau or similar) * Project Management certifications (PMP, Scrum, Kanban, etc.) * Experience in critical operational environments or operations centers **Education** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Energy, Mechanical, Production or related fields), Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics or related areas **Behavioral Competencies** * Analytical thinking and systemic vision * Ability to work with data critical to operations * Organization, discipline, and attention to norms and procedures * Strong communication skills for interaction with technical and operational teams * Proactivity and focus on continuous improvement **Additional Information** At Auren Energia, we believe the future lies in innovative ideas, sustainable actions, and a more positive world; and what makes the difference in creating our synergy is who we go with!
