Equipment configuration and testing Provides field support for installation and maintenance of telecommunications services, assisting with cable routing, customer activation, equipment configuration, and testing. Works under supervision to ensure proper service functionality and customer satisfaction. * Assist in internet service installation, performing drop cable routing, optical fiber laying and securing; * Perform drop cable (optical fiber) routing and securing; * Support customer activation and organization at the CTO; * Assist with fiber splicing and accommodation, as required; * Configure routers, ONT/ONU, and test connectivity; * Check signal levels and perform speed tests; * Identify and rectify installation faults; * Organize internal cabling inside residences; * Guide customers on basic router usage; * Record service orders and information in the system; * Comply with safety regulations and safeguard equipment; * Perform other related tasks as instructed.
