LOADING AND UNLOADING ASSISTANT

Job Summary: Responsible for handling, loading, and unloading goods; organizing the workplace; and supporting drivers, while complying with safety and quality standards. Key Highlights: 1. Driver support and assistance Responsible for performing handling, loading, and/or unloading activities for various types of goods from trucks and other vehicles, observing and adhering to established procedures—both process-related and safety-related. Assist in operational tasks related to loading, unloading, material sorting, and driver support. Perform handling, loading, and/or unloading tasks for goods from trucks and other vehicles using hydraulic carts or manually, observing and complying with established procedures—both process-related and safety-related—to prevent personal injury and material damage, as well as to achieve productivity and quality targets. Conduct physical inventory counts whenever required or requested, to monitor and verify quantities of goods stored in the warehouse area. Maintain and organize the workplace, helping to keep it clean and orderly. Provide support and accompany drivers during pickup and/or delivery processes, assisting with street location and route navigation. Observe and comply with guidelines outlined in the quality policy, as well as applicable norms and procedures related to one’s area of responsibility—including those concerning cleanliness, organization, and safety. Perform other related tasks as instructed, requested, or supervised by the immediate supervisor, aiming to contribute to professional improvement and development. Act in accordance with procedures, instructions, and performance indicators. Notify the responsible supervisor in case of absences or tardiness.
