**Description:** Responsible for adjusting and optimizing engine performance, ensuring that they operate efficiently, safely, and in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications for operational or competitive use. **Key Activities:** Research, develop, and innovate technologies applied to internal combustion engines; Collect and analyze engine data—such as pressure, temperature, and rotational speed—to identify issues and opportunities for improvement; Perform engine maintenance and repairs, including part replacement and component adjustment; Develop and document engine calibration and maintenance procedures; Develop engine control software calibration on dynamometer test benches and vehicles; Develop vehicle instrumentation; Develop experimental design projects (DoE); Develop test automation; Prepare development reports and technical papers; Develop equipment and vehicle management; Participate in projects as a systems engineer and calibrator; Maintain technical interfaces with internal and external customers; Develop technical presentations for internal and external customers and conferences; Train and provide support to other technicians and engineers in the development and calibration of internal combustion engines. **NOTE:** TEKMA, as a service-providing company, reserves the right to review submitted resumes and duly classify them for inclusion in our Talent Database, without any binding commitment to actual placement of the professional. Personal contact will be made only in response to market demands. **Desired Requirements:** Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering; Intermediate English proficiency; Prior experience in the field; Experience in analyzing engine data (performance, emissions, efficiency), vehicle and dynamometer testing, and vehicle certification processes; Experience working in multicultural and multidisciplinary teams (hardware, software, systems, calibration, etc.); **Technical knowledge of:** internal combustion engines and applicable technologies, automotive protocols (CAN, LIN, etc.), and vehicle emissions (techniques and technologies for emission reduction); Technical knowledge of emissions and energy efficiency legislation (Proconve and MOVER); Interest in representing the area in external entities (e.g., SAE, AEA...); Familiarity with ETAS tools (INCA, MDA, etc.), Vector CANoe, and CANalyser; Experience in competition teams is desirable. 2512200202551759480
