Development in an agile environment (Scrum/Kanban) **[Tech] Junior Software Engineering - Java** ================================================= TOTVS | Assis - SP | Hybrid Job Description **Role Mission** A developer with experience in **Java and Mobile**, who possesses autonomy to develop new features and handle low-complexity support tickets, and who actively collaborates with the team to solve problems and continuously evolve our products. Responsibilities and Duties **WHAT YOU WILL DO:** * **Java Development:** Experience with **Java 11/17** and frameworks such as **Spring Boot**. * **Mobile & Front-end Ecosystem:** Solid knowledge of **Angular 8+** (TypeScript) and interest/experience with mobile technologies such as **Flutter** or **Ionic**. * **Database:** Basic knowledge of **SQL Server or Oracle (PL/SQL)**. * **APIs:** Experience consuming and developing **RESTful APIs**. * **Code Quality:** Practice writing unit tests and familiarity with code reviews. * **Version Control Tools:** Proficiency in **Git** and familiarity with CI/CD workflows (preferably **Azure DevOps**). * **Agile Methodologies:** Experience working in squads using Scrum or Kanban. * **Problem Solving:** Analytical ability to identify and fix bugs in production and staging environments. * **Proactivity:** Accountability for your tasks and commitment to deliverables. Ability to quickly absorb business rules. * **Be Collaborative:** Team-oriented mindset, sharing questions and helping others whenever possible. * **Delivery Focus:** Balance delivery speed with expected technical quality. * **Be Adaptable:** Comfortable transitioning across different technologies (from modern Java to legacy systems, from web to mobile). Requirements and Qualifications **WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:** * **Java Development:** Experience with **Java 11/17** and frameworks such as **Spring Boot**. * **Mobile & Front-end Ecosystem:** Solid knowledge of **Angular 8+** (TypeScript) and interest/experience with mobile technologies such as **Flutter** or **Ionic**. * **Database:** Basic knowledge of **SQL Server or Oracle (PL/SQL)**. * **APIs:** Experience consuming and developing **RESTful APIs**. Desirable Requirements IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAD: * Basic knowledge or hands-on experience with **Delphi** or **JSP** (legacy system maintenance). * Familiarity with the **TOTVS ecosystem (Protheus or Datasul)**. * Understanding of containers (**Podman/Docker**). * Knowledge related to Agribusiness.
