Main responsibilities:* Support the immediate supervisor in planning and executing operational routines, ensuring established goals and deadlines are met to guarantee process efficiency and alignment of activities with the company’s strategic objectives; * Verify the organization and maintenance of areas, climate-controlled chambers, and department equipment, reporting maintenance needs or adjustments required to contribute to a functional and safe environment; * Assist in inventory and product expiry date control, monitoring storage, applying the FIFO method, and ensuring proper product display to prevent waste and guarantee merchandise availability; * Ensure inspection and replacement of displayed products showing abnormalities regarding preservation status or expiry date, guaranteeing food quality and safety; * Carry out loss prevention and control activities, evaluating at-risk products, proposing preventive actions, and monitoring operational processes to reduce waste and maximize departmental results; * Monitor restocking and organization of products on shelves and refrigerated counters, ensuring proper identification with price tags, tare labels, and expiry dates according to the defined layout, to guarantee attractive product display and compliance with internal standards; * Monitor temperatures of climate-controlled areas and equipment, flagging irregularities and reporting the need for adjustments or maintenance to ensure appropriate storage and product preservation conditions; * Actively participate in receiving goods inspections, verifying condition, invoices, and order compliance to guarantee sector quality and organization; * Perform other related tasks as required or requested by the immediate supervisor.
