Job Summary: Internship for developing and enhancing backend applications in telecommunications, focusing on Golang, APIs, microservices, and DevOps practices, supporting integrations and systems. Key Highlights: 1. Support in developing backend APIs and microservices in Golang. 2. Participation in integrations, authentication, transaction control, and billing. 3. Technical mentoring in backend architecture, cloud, and telecom. We are seeking an intern to support the development and enhancement of backend applications in the telecommunications sector, using Golang, APIs, microservices, authentication, messaging, cloud, and DevOps practices. The candidate will support the technical team in building and evolving backend services responsible for operator integrations, API Gateway, authentication, transaction control, billing, caching, and inter-system communication. Key Responsibilities: * Support backend API and microservice development in Golang. * Assist with integrations among internal services, API Gateway, and external systems. * Participate in implementing REST endpoints for authentication, queries, registration, and transaction control. * Support routines related to caching, logging, and data persistence using technologies such as Redis and PostgreSQL. * Contribute to adjustments and improvements in authentication flows, tokens, access keys, and request validations. * Support integrations related to the Open Gateway ecosystem, including operator identification, entitlement, billing, and onboarding. * Assist with DevOps activities such as Docker, CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments, and log monitoring. * Collaborate on technical documentation for APIs, integrations, and architectural workflows. * Participate in code reviews, testing, and bug fixes alongside the development team. * Receive technical mentoring from more experienced developers, gradually advancing in backend architecture, cloud, and telecom. Requirements: **1\. Hard Skills** * **Academic Background:** Currently enrolled in the final year of Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields. * **Golang Knowledge:** Basic/intermediate knowledge of Golang acquired through academic projects, self-study, bootcamps, or internships. * **Backend Development:** Familiarity with REST APIs, backend logic, and system integration. * **Development Experience:** Participation in academic projects, personal projects, hackathons, or contributions to open-source projects is considered a plus. * **Cloud & DevOps:** Familiarity with DevOps concepts and cloud services, preferably AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, or similar). * **Version Control:** Basic knowledge of Git. * **Languages:** Intermediate English for technical reading and occasional meetings with international teams. **2\. Soft Skills** * **Attention to Detail:** Interest in writing organized, readable, and high-quality code. * **Proactivity:** Willingness to learn, seek solutions, and collaborate with the team. * **Continuous Improvement:** Genuine interest in software development, emerging technologies, and continuous improvement. * **Teamwork:** Good communication skills and openness to learning from more experienced developers. **3\. Preferred Qualifications** * Basic knowledge of Spanish. * Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps culture. * Interest in Artificial Intelligence applied to software development. * Familiarity with modern AI-assisted development tools such as: Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Codex, Copilot CLI
