For more information, visit Worley.com We are looking for a **Senior Structural Engineer:** **Requirements:** * Generally, as part of responsibilities, possess knowledge of preparing technical documentation through application of fundamental engineering theories, techniques, and practices. Familiar with applicable standards, regulations, building codes, manufacturing standards, and standard design practices relevant to control and development; * Experience in Civil Engineering within the conventional energy sector, including multidisciplinary projects, reinforced concrete structural design, steel structural design, structural analysis and design, quantity take-off calculations, and design review/evaluation; * Preliminary and/or detailed design of reinforced concrete structures and verification of steel structures, quantity take-off calculations, sketch preparation, compilation of calculation memos, preparation of quantity schedules, and support during preparation of formwork, reinforcement, anchor bolt, insert, single-line, and 3D model drawings; * English (spoken, written, and comprehension); * Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams. Ability to navigate intranet pages, conduct research, and synthesize information. Organize information from multiple sources according to prescribed formats and policies; * Familiarity with structural analysis/verification software such as SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, TQS, Robot, etc. **Responsibilities:** * Gather data from multiple sources and prepare engineering studies, analyses, calculations, etc. Develop recommendations and prepare final documentation. Identify technical issues, develop alternative solutions, assess pros and cons of various options, and provide recommendations via official project documents such as technical queries, technical deviations, etc. Compile final documentation incorporating all relevant information and obtain client approval. May review similar documentation to assist others and review/approve work performed by the team; * Evaluate technical documentation for projects, review documents, and consolidate comments; * Prepare design criteria, technical specifications and/or service specifications, descriptive memoranda for reinforced concrete structures, and provide support to the discipline supervisor.
