You will act strategically in area management, promoting the technical development of the team and continuous improvement of tax and accounting processes. **Main Responsibilities:** **Technical Management** * Coordinate tax and fiscal routines (calculation of direct and indirect taxes). * Ensure compliance with current legislation (federal, state, and municipal). * Supervise ancillary obligations (SPED, EFD, DCTF, etc.). * Analyze and validate tax classifications. * Identify tax risks and opportunities for tax planning. * Support the accounting area in proper tax classification and reconciliation. * Monitor tax audits, notices, and inspections. **People Management** * Coordinate, guide, and develop the tax team. * Conduct internal and external technical training as needed. * Promote continuous team updates regarding legislative changes. * Conduct performance monitoring and periodic feedback. * Structure workflows, procedures, and operational standards. **Strategic Management** * Drive process improvement and standardization. * Propose solutions that reduce risks and increase tax efficiency. * Support executive management in decision-making through technical analyses. * Monitor departmental indicators (compliance, deadlines, rework, contingencies). **Technical Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Sciences, Law, Business Administration, or related fields. * Solid knowledge of tax legislation. * Experience with direct and indirect taxes. * Experience in tax and accounting routines. * Familiarity with tax systems and ancillary obligations. * Prior experience in leadership or team coordination. **Behavioral Competencies** * Technical leadership. * Analytical ability. * Clear and didactic communication. * Organization and priority management. * Strategic mindset and systemic vision. * Consultative and solution-oriented attitude.
