Description
Perform masonry, concrete, and other material-related work, guided by drawings, schematics, and specifications, and using processes and tools appropriate to the trade, to construct, renovate, or repair buildings and structures.
**Responsibilities and duties**
* Perform, supervise, and guide masonry, concrete, and other material-related work, guided by schematics and specifications, and using processes and tools appropriate to the trade, to renovate or repair buildings and structures;
* Instruct and/or prepare cement, sand, and water mixtures, dosing quantities appropriately to obtain the mortar required for the work;
* Perform and supervise finishing and maintenance services for company buildings and facilities, repairing or constructing floors, walls, circulation pathways, walls, stairs, based on general civil construction knowledge and higher-level instructions;
* Fabricate steel reinforcements to be used in reinforced concrete construction;
* Pour concrete floors using pre-mixed concrete and screeds to create divisions, ensuring proper leveling;
* Repair roofs by replacing damaged gutters and roof tiles;
* Ensure proper use and maintenance of machinery, equipment, accessories, and devices, arranging for cleaning and storage in designated locations;
* Perform other similar activities as instructed;
* Carry out job-related activities while strictly adhering to all organizational safety, health, and environmental work standards and procedures, and consistently using all mandatory personal protective equipment (PPE) required for the position and department; responsible for promptly reporting to their immediate supervisor any activity posing a risk to their own health or that of fellow workers;
* Perform activities in alignment with the company’s values, policies, guidelines, procedures, and processes, always focusing on organizational goals and maintaining confidentiality and protection of company information;
* Maintain discipline in the 5S program, aiming for safe work through organization, standardization, and cleanliness of the workplace;
* Safeguard company property under their responsibility and report any problems or damages detected to their immediate supervisor.
