




Job Summary: Assist the driver and operational team in activities such as loading, unloading, cargo organization, train escorting, and vehicle inspection, ensuring safety and equipment preservation. Opportunity to assist in material handling between departments. **Description and Responsibilities:** **Schedule:** 44 Hours Per Week **Level:** Operational **Employment Type:** Permanent – CLT * Assist in loading and unloading trucks, trailers, or railcars; * Support safe cargo organization and securing using straps, chains, and other equipment; * Escort trains during transit, ensuring safety and proper signage; * Assist in pre-trip vehicle inspections (basic checklist covering tires, lighting, safety equipment, etc.); * Report irregularities or issues observed during transit or loading; * Support the driver and operational team in guiding maneuvers and vehicle positioning; * Assist in cleaning and maintaining vehicles and equipment used in train operations; * Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with occupational safety regulations; * Support internal logistics for material and product movement between departments, when required. **Requirements:** **Requirements:** * Completed high school education; **Preferred Qualifications:** * Knowledge of safety regulations and operational procedures; * Ability to perform daily train inspections, checking mechanical and electrical conditions; * Ability to report any identified train anomalies to the immediate supervisor; * Ability to communicate with the maintenance team to resolve mechanical and electrical issues; * Skill in maintaining records of trips and inspections conducted on the train. **Benefits:** Accommodation, Medical Assistance, Mobility Allowance, Profit-Sharing Program \- PPR, On-site Meals, Life Insurance
