Responsibilities
**Job Mission**
Responsible for developing plant operation parameter controls and monitoring performance indicators, as well as pursuing continuous improvement to ensure productive process performance in accordance with current safety/environmental, cost, quality, and production policies.
**Responsibilities**
* Support optimal operational unit performance by conducting studies or providing recommendations regarding the production process;
* Ensure optimization of industrial processes through basic engineering studies;
* Accelerate resolution of operational issues through in-depth knowledge, comprehension, and understanding of production areas;
* Participate in identifying problems and resolving high-risk points in the industrial process using risk analysis methods (HAZOP);
* Prepare periodic monitoring reports for respective areas using data from the production process;
* Monitor procurement of equipment and instruments to ensure suitability for the process through comparative analysis of proposals and issuance of technical opinions;
* Expedite and develop performance evaluations of areas, as well as projects for new equipment and operational units, through development of application software;
* Seek new technologies to replace or improve the process through studies and research, including technical-economic feasibility;
* Ensure compliance with applicable legislation and adherence to organizational policies and occupational health, safety, and environmental standards;

Requirements
**Education**
Bachelor's Degree completed – Chemical Engineering;
Desirable: MBA or specialization;
Active Regional Council of Chemistry (CRQ).
English – Intermediate
**Mandatory Knowledge**
Proficiency in ASPEN or related Process Control software;
Proficiency in SAP system.
**Desirable Knowledge**
Spanish – Intermediate;
Green Belt certification
