Manage the Sustaining CAPEX portfolio Responsibilities **Job Mission** Coordinate industrial maintenance, Sustaining CAPEX projects, reliability, planning, and cost management, ensuring high asset availability, operational safety, and efficient use of financial resources, with strong OPEX and CAPEX control. **Responsibilities*** Team management: lead in-house and outsourced teams in Mechanical; Electrical; Instrumentation; and Facilities; * Develop technical and behavioral competencies; * Ensure efficient resource allocation and team productivity; * Guarantee safe practices, compliance with regulations, and an appropriate working environment; * Promote alignment and effective communication with other departments, ensuring the Business Unit achieves its overall performance goals; * Maintenance Management; * Coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to ensure asset reliability and safety; * Ensure a structured response to critical failures and emergencies; * Promote technical standardization and operational discipline; * Perform PCM (Planning and Scheduling) routines; * Conduct failure analyses (RCA), FMEA, and reliability practices; * Reduce recurring failures, backlog, and emergency maintenance; * Maintain updated maintenance indicators (KPIs), ensuring achievement of performance targets and pursuing continuous process improvement; * Oversee technical storage and material organization in warehouses and equipment yards; * Contract and Facilities Management: manage industrial maintenance and facilities contracts; * Control scope, SLAs, costs, technical performance, and safety of service providers; * Support procurement, renegotiation, and supplier evaluation processes; * Identify opportunities for contract optimization and total cost reduction; * Cost Management (OPEX and CAPEX); * Manage the annual maintenance budget (OPEX) and Sustaining CAPEX budget; * Prepare budgetary forecasts (budget and forecast); * Control costs related to: Materials and spare parts; * Services and contracts; * Analyze variances between planned vs. actual and define action plans; * Implement cost-reduction initiatives without increasing operational risk; * Ensure correct accounting classification between OPEX and CAPEX; * Investment Projects – Sustaining CAPEX; * Manage the Sustaining CAPEX portfolio; * Develop technical scopes, investment estimates, and schedules; * Monitor physical and financial execution of projects; * Ensure commissioning, technical delivery, and proper incorporation of assets into the management system.
