BM VAGAS in partnership with VETERINARY LABORATORY is seeking a Laboratory Technician for the city of Salvador-BA. Responsibilities **1. Processing of biological samples (Cutting and Extraction Room):** Numbering and organizing microtubes and biological samples (hair). Cutting and packaging hair bulbs into microtubes according to identification. Performing benchtop and instrument sanitation between samples. Preparing reagents and performing DNA extraction (rapid and in-house methods). Organizing samples for subsequent molecular analysis. **2. Organization and archiving:** Archiving processed samples by species and numerical order. Maintaining clean and organized workspaces (benches, floor, racks, pipette tips). **3. Laboratory diagnosis (AIE/Mormo Room):** Receiving, identifying, and registering samples. Aliquoting sera into numbered microtubes. Preparing reagents and performing diagnostic assays (IDGA and ELISA) for AIE and Mormo. Performing readings, recording results in specific systems and files. Sealing samples at the end of processing. **4. Support and control activities:** Completing SGQ forms (temperature control, kit inventory). Washing and sanitizing glassware. Monitoring and requesting preventive equipment maintenance. Following safety regulations and using mandatory PPEs. Working in accordance with Quality Management System standards. **5. Teamwork:** Collaborating with technical staff and professionals from other areas to ensure smooth laboratory operations.
