**JOB: OPERATIONAL SUPERVISOR**
We are seeking a professional to serve as an **Operational Supervisor**, responsible for overseeing and monitoring the unit's operational activities, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality in operations.
**Main Responsibilities**
* Supervise the unit's operational activities, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and service quality;
* Plan, execute, and monitor operational processes with a focus on continuous improvement and results;
* Supervise loading and unloading operations, cargo handling (solid bulk, project cargo, steel products, and vehicles);
* Plan daily operational scheduling, ensuring deadlines and targets are met;
* Monitor inventories and prepare operational and inventory schedules, including additional shifts when necessary;
* Manage administrative and operational material requisitions;
* Monitor invoice entries and exits in the GATE system;
* Generate operational and managerial reports, including the unit's daily movement;
* Prepare and ensure required documentation for loading, unloading, receiving, and discharging operations;
* Validate administrative and operational purchases;
* Monitor operational and administrative costs, as well as operational expenses;
* Develop freight compositions and support logistics analyses;
* Attend to and monitor vessel operations, maintaining contact with the captain, chief officer, and crew;
* Request machinery and equipment for port operations when necessary;
* Plan and monitor interface with the maintenance department;
* Review and analyze operational indicators to support decision-making;
* Support the Business Unit Leader in managing and improving operational performance;
* Conduct and facilitate operational meetings and training sessions, including DDS (Daily Safety Dialogue).
**Requirements**
* Completed high school education;
* Technical or undergraduate degree (completed or in progress) in Administration, Accounting, or Logistics is desirable;
* Minimum 2 years of experience in the field, including team supervision, is desirable;
* Training courses in Port Operations, Administration, or Transportation are desirable;
* Basic to intermediate computer skills.
