1. Job Purpose
Ensure the integrity, availability, and reliability of the laboratory’s IT infrastructure through preventive and corrective equipment maintenance, technical support to users, local network administration, and information security. Directly monitors backups, data protection, and stability of critical operational and laboratory analysis systems.
2. Job Requirements
**Mandatory Qualification:**
* Completed technical course in Computer Science, Computer Networks, or related fields
**Desirable:**
* Experience with maintenance in healthcare environments, clinics, or laboratories
* Knowledge of network infrastructure (TCP/IP, VLANs, switches, corporate Wi-Fi)
* Experience with **backup routines, information security policies, firewalls, and corporate antivirus**
* Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS), ERPs, and connectivity with automated analyzers
* Basic understanding of best practices related to the **LGPD**
* Organized, proactive profile with strong communication skills for internal support
3. Duties and Responsibilities
* Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on computers, printers, routers, and peripherals;
* Install and configure operating systems, management software (ERP), laboratory information systems (LIS), and network applications;
* Provide first- and second-level technical support to staff (on-site and remote);
* Monitor and execute **daily backup and data recovery routines**, reporting failures or risks to management;
* Administer the internal network (wired and wireless), including switches, routers, and access controllers;
* Configure and monitor antivirus, firewalls, restricted access, and security updates;
* Support internal system access management, respecting confidentiality and information security rules;
* Maintain the inventory of IT equipment, including lifecycle tracking and replacement needs;
* Comply with internal information security policies, LGPD, and audit standards (DICQ and ISO);
* Conduct connectivity tests with integrated laboratory equipment (LIS/automation interfaces);
* Participate in planning technological infrastructure and system improvements.
4. Authority
* Perform authorized maintenance and corrections on IT systems and equipment;
* Request purchases or replacement of damaged components;
* Suggest technological upgrades and improvements to security and backup protocols;
* Block access in case of suspected security breaches, reporting to management.
