Does this describe you? **Responsibilities and Duties** **1\. Process Development and Documentation Preparation** Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process flowcharts, PFMEAs, control plans, and assembly instructions in compliance with IATF 16949 requirements. Conduct assembly feasibility analyses (DFA – Design for Assembly), validate assembly routes, and issue technical feasibility reports. Maintain up-to-date bills of materials (BOM), tools, fixtures, and equipment lists. **2\. Production Line and Equipment Management** Develop production line layouts, specifying tools, fixtures, torque equipment, and test equipment. Monitor installation, commissioning, and acceptance of new lines and equipment, participating in technical validation. Optimize line balancing, cycle time, takt time, and operator workload. **3\. Production and Quality Support** Address technical issues on the engine assembly line by analyzing non-conformities and rework. Support corrective and preventive actions (8D, 5 Whys), promoting continuous improvement based on Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen principles. Support the Quality Department in process validation, PPAP, and process capability analysis (Cpk). **4\. New Product Introduction (NPI)** Participate in all phases of APQP projects, responsible for sample and pilot batch validation. Ensure stable transition of processes into series production, securing approval of manufacturing processes. **5\. Training and System Compliance** Conduct process and safety training for operators and team leaders. Comply with EHS requirements, Brazilian labor legislation, and quality management systems, ensuring document control. **Requirements and Qualifications** **1\. Academic Background** Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Production Engineering, or related fields. Active registration with CREA (Regional Council of Engineering and Agronomy) – mandatory. **2\. Experience** Experience in the automotive industry, specifically in engine or powertrain assembly processes. In-depth knowledge of internal combustion engine structure, components, tolerances, and testing methods. **3\. Technical Competencies** Proficiency in quality tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA. Knowledge of automated assembly processes, torque control, and lean production lines (Lean Manufacturing). Proficiency in technical software such as AutoCAD, UG/NX/CATIA, as well as advanced Excel and PowerPoint. **4\. Languages** Advanced English. Technical English proficiency, including ability to read and write technical manuals and specifications. Mandarin is considered a plus. **5\. Behavioral Competencies** Strong problem-solving skills, teamwork, and clear communication. Proactive, organized, results-oriented profile with project management capability and ability to perform under pressure. Willingness to travel nationally and internationally, as required. **Preferred Qualifications** Experience in engine assembly at international OEMs. Knowledge of electric motor systems and/or hybrid technologies. Participation in projects involving implementation of new production lines, cost reduction, and OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) improvement.
