Description
Operate high-power and complex machinery in accordance with technical instructions and the direction of the immediate supervisor, ensuring proper equipment care and compliance with company regulations and guidelines.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Operate a front-end loader for routine tasks, including truck unloading, hopper feeding, simple product loading, removal of product from residual areas, support in DDGS dispatch, pushing corn into silos when necessary, and performing more complex operational tasks;
* Operate hydraulic excavators for tasks essential to the department, as required;
* Maintain the machine assigned for operation by checking oil levels daily and verifying its functionality, completing mandatory checklists to prevent equipment wear;
* Monitor oil changes, lubrication, and inspections, taking care of and maintaining the equipment;
* Unload biomass trucks at the warehouse, organizing piles by biomass type and pushing biomass onto the conveyor belt feeding the boiler;
* Be responsible for supplying biomass to boilers, DDGS to elevators, and corn to spouts as needed; immediately notify the supervisor in case of any emergency;
* Perform activities in corn and DDGS warehouses;
* Assist in cleaning and unclogging departmental equipment when required;
* Take care to avoid clogging equipment;
* Perform other related tasks as requested by the immediate supervisor;
* Conduct inspections and identify malfunctions in machinery, promptly reporting any irregularities to direct managers and/or the maintenance department;
* Perform job-related activities while strictly adhering to all occupational safety, health, and environmental regulations and procedures established by the organization, and consistently using all mandatory personal protective equipment (PPE) required for carrying out job and departmental tasks; report to the immediate supervisor any activity posing risks to one’s own health or that of fellow workers;
* Carry out duties in alignment with the company’s values, policies, guidelines, procedures, and processes, always focusing on organizational goals and safeguarding company information through confidentiality and protection;
* Maintain discipline in the 5S program, aiming for safe work through workplace organization, standardization, and cleanliness;
* Safeguard company property under one’s responsibility and promptly report any problems or damages detected to the immediate supervisor.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
Completed high school education;
Machinery Operator training course.
