Work with Linux servers, virtualization, networks, and security The **Junior Infrastructure Analyst** is responsible for supporting the company’s IT environment maintenance and evolution, ensuring the proper operation of servers, networks, machines, and services. Working under supervision, this role contributes to administering Linux environments, virtualization, backups, and local networks, performs technical troubleshooting, and supports infrastructure security. We seek a technically skilled, organized, and proactive candidate who continuously seeks to improve processes through automation and AI utilization for enhanced efficiency. **REQUIREMENTS:** * Currently pursuing or having completed a Technology or Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields. * Knowledge of Linux server administration. * Familiarity with virtualization tools (VMware, VirtualBox, Hyper\-V, or Proxmox). * Knowledge of automation scripting (Bash and/or PowerShell). * Experience with computer formatting and configuration. * Knowledge of networking, firewalls, and VM configuration. * Ability to use AI to support technical routines. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Administer Linux servers under supervision (users, permissions, services, logs, packages, disk, and basic troubleshooting). * Configure and maintain hosting environments (DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS, Nginx/Apache), publishing and validating simple websites or applications. * Create and manage virtual machines (VMware, VirtualBox, Hyper\-V, or Proxmox), including networking, snapshots, and templates. * Execute and validate backup and restore routines (rsync, Veeam, Bacula, snapshots), understanding RPO and RTO. * Work with local networks (IP, gateway, VLAN, DHCP, NAT), performing troubleshooting using ping, traceroute, nslookup/dig, and basic tcpdump. * Develop simple automations in Bash and/or PowerShell (backup, monitoring, and scheduling scripts). * Format and configure computers, ensuring standardization and security. * Support firewall configuration and maintenance, as well as basic security policies. * Collaborate with internal departments to ensure infrastructure stability, security, and performance. **This is a 100% on\-site position.**
