**Consultant IV (Engineer or Geologist) \- Consulting** **Location:** Camaçari \- BA We are seeking a **Consultant IV** to join our technical team. This professional will act as a **senior technical reference in Contaminated Site Management (CSM) projects**, supporting technical project management, conducting complex activities, and guiding field teams. **Responsibilities and duties** **Activities to be performed:** * Prepare, review, and issue high-complexity technical assessments and reports related to environmental investigations and remediation; * Propose robust technical scopes for diagnosis and remediation activities, including conceptual models (2D/3D), system sizing, intervention plans, and human health risk assessments; * Act as a **technical reference** in investigation and remediation projects, supporting project managers and teams; * Evaluate methodologies and implement new technologies to enhance service quality and efficiency; * Review and validate project and quality technical reports, drawings, and documents; * Deliver technical presentations in meetings with clients, environmental agencies, public hearings, and other involved stakeholders; * Plan and monitor project **execution and progress**, ensuring alignment between implementation and expected outcomes; * Coordinate and supervise Cetrel's and/or partner field teams during investigation and remediation activities, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, technical standards, and **Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE)** guidelines; * Serve as a technical support point for team development and training. **Requirements and qualifications** **Education:** * Degree in Sanitary, Environmental, Chemical, or Civil Engineering, Geology, or related fields; * Advanced English (reading, writing, and technical conversation); **Key knowledge:** * Experience in contaminated site management (CSM) projects; * Proficiency in Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ease with digital systems. **Preferred qualifications:** * Previous experience in **technical management of complex CSM projects**; * Experience in direct interaction with clients and environmental agencies; * Knowledge of the environmental consulting market and its main challenges.
