ERM is seeking an Environmental Consultant in Investigation and Remediation to join the company in Maceió/AL. Responsibilities* Support project management involving investigation and remediation of soil, groundwater, sediments, and free-phase products for clients with complex technical/regulatory issues in the chemical, manufacturing, oil and gas, and food sectors. * Plan and supervise subcontractors and field work, including sampling, drilling, well installation, soil, groundwater and free-phase product assessment, vapor intrusion assessment, pilot remediation tests, and construction oversight of remediation systems. * Work on multiple projects, supporting the project manager and coordinating with subcontractors; * Prepare technical reports in Portuguese; * Build strong collaborative relationships with ERM staff, clients, and subcontractors. Requirements* Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology, or Chemistry. * Experience in recording technical data and detailed reporting. * Experience with complex site investigation/remediation projects under various local, state, and federal regulatory frameworks. * Strong commitment to safety, including adherence to established ERM Health and Safety protocols. * Ability to succeed in a consulting pace environment, handling multiple project assignments while maintaining flexibility and meeting strict deadlines. * Availability for business travel and valid driver's license.
