That’s why we are constantly seeking new talents ready to make a difference alongside us. We are looking for a Purchasing Analyst to join our team and strengthen Atakarejo’s supply chain. This professional will play a key role in ensuring product availability, optimizing costs, and maintaining the quality of our offerings—directly contributing to customer satisfaction and the company’s growth in the retail/wholesale segment. #### **Main responsibilities:** * Assist in procurement quotations and negotiations with suppliers, seeking optimal commercial terms, delivery timelines, and quality. * Monitor the purchase order flow—from issuance through delivery—ensuring adherence to deadlines and compliance with specifications. * Request and track supplier financial pending items, ensuring timely payments and healthy commercial relationships. * Generate reports on damages and discrepancies, propose solutions, and follow up on related discussions with suppliers. * Provide store-level support regarding product-related questions, orders, and deliveries. * Monitor budget reports and track performance of commercial agreements. * Analyze market conditions and consumer trends to identify new product and supplier opportunities. * Develop and qualify new suppliers, assessing their delivery capacity and quality standards. * Optimize procurement processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs without compromising quality. * Track purchasing department KPIs and propose action plans for continuous improvement. * Perform other duties inherent to the role that contribute to the success of the purchasing department. #### **Mandatory requirements:** * Completed or ongoing undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Economics, or related fields. * Proven prior experience as a Purchasing Analyst, preferably in the Retail/Wholesale (supermarket) segment. * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for analysis and reporting. * Solid knowledge of taxes related to procurement and retail operations. * Experience with procurement management systems (ERP). * Strong negotiation and interpersonal communication skills. * Analytical ability and logical reasoning for decision-making. #### **Desirable qualifications (advantageous):** * Postgraduate degree or specialization in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Business Management. * Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI) for data analysis. * Experience with specific supermarket product categories (perishables, grocery, etc.). * Intermediate English proficiency. * Proactivity and strategic mindset.
