Ensure housekeeping, safety, and handling quality Posting Date: March 19, 2026 Location: Rio Grande, RS, BR Knowledge Area: Transportation and Logistics Job Type: Temporary Work Modality: On-site Job Requisition ID: 24377 **Material Handling Operator I \- Fixed-Term Contract** ================================================ At Yara, we are part of a global network collaborating to solve some of the world's biggest challenges — resource scarcity, food insecurity, and environmental change — profitably and responsibly. **Apply by** -------------------- 03/26/2026 **Position Description \| Responsibilities** --------------------------------------------- * Collaborate in maintaining equipment, facilities, and transporting products, waste, and other items using various machines such as mini-loaders or manual activities required by the business; Move, dismantle, unpack, and handle products, waste, and various objects within granulation areas, blending areas, external roads, gutters, boxes, warehouses, floors, and other accumulation points inside and outside industrial units; * Perform daily checks on the condition of work equipment by completing checklists or other management tools; * Ensure housekeeping, safety, handling quality, waste reduction, ergonomics, and other requirements to guarantee a safe, efficient workplace compliant with applicable regulations; * Ensure operations at the site are conducted safely and in an environmentally sound manner, in accordance with the Integrated Management System and HESQ procedures and practices; * Support activities not requiring or demanding specific machine operation, such as housekeeping, HESQ-related tasks, and operational support activities, among others; * Maintain warehouses and used equipment without causing damage to company assets; * Observe site traffic rules and refrain from using mobile phones while operating the mini-loader. **Profile \| Education and Knowledge** -------------------------------------- * Collaborative mindset, initiative, curiosity, sense of ownership, and respect for diversity. * Completed high school education; * Basic knowledge of SAP; * Prior experience in this field or similar is desirable. * Mandatory certified Mini-Loader (Bobcat) Operator training; **Contact Information** -------------------------- People & Culture **Knowledge Cultivated Through Diversity** Yara is committed to building a diverse and inclusive environment and takes pride in being an equal-opportunity employer.
