Frequency: Weekly Days: Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Saturdays Modality: In-person Minimum number of participants: 1 Workload: 8h Schedule: from 08h to 17h Type: Initial or Periodic Curriculum: a) Regulations and standards applicable to work at height; b) Risk analysis and prohibitive conditions; c) Potential hazards inherent to work at height and preventive and control measures; d) Collective protection systems, equipment, and procedures; e) Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for work at height: selection, inspection, maintenance, and usage limitations; f) Typical accidents in work at height; g) Conduct in emergency situations, including basic rescue techniques and first aid. Practical sessions: Inspection of PPE and accessories Donning and adjustment of PPE Vertical movement using rope and steel cable fall arresters Vertical and horizontal movement using double lanyards Movement using retractable fall arresters Storage and maintenance of PPE and accessories Target audience: Workers in civil construction, telecommunications, electricity, and other sectors performing tasks above 2 m with fall risk, requiring the use of safety harnesses. Instructors: Occupational Safety Technician, Supervisor, and Professional Rope Access Rescuer. Prerequisites: Completion of 4th grade of elementary education Assessment: Participants will take a written test to evaluate theoretical knowledge acquisition. To pass, participants must achieve 100% attendance and a minimum score of 70%. Certificate: Issued electronically and sent within 2 business days after training completion. (Participant signs using a touch pen; digital signature or Gov signature is recommended for subsequent formalization.) Validity: 2 years
