Coordination with the Superintendency and Customer Management **About the Role** We are seeking a **Production Manager** to manage unit operations, ensuring results, quality, and on-time delivery. Responsibilities include managing production KPIs and strategic execution on the shop floor. You will lead teams, schedules, and performance, promoting continuous development and improvement. You must ensure compliance with safety regulations, Integrated Management System (IMS), and a safe working environment. You will coordinate closely with the Superintendency and Customer Management to achieve operational excellence and customer satisfaction. **Responsibilities** * Manage the unit’s production operations, directly engaging on the shop floor to ensure on-time delivery, quality standards, operational efficiency, and adherence to company policies, standards, and targets. * Manage the unit’s operational performance in partnership with the Superintendency, including budgetary management, cost control, KPI analysis, and implementation of continuous improvements. * Ensure customer service levels by collaborating with Customer Management to address requests, meet SLAs, and maintain customer satisfaction. * Plan production based on weekly volume forecasts, capacity balancing, and optimization of operational resources. * Define, monitor, and review key production KPIs (productivity, volumes, forecast, costs, and budget), driving action plans for deviations. * Manage people and performance of the operational team and direct leadership, delivering structured feedback, fostering development, and reinforcing a results-oriented culture. * Ensure implementation of the Integrated Management System (IMS), promoting continuous training, process standardization, and operational compliance. * Lead the unit’s safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, participation in daily safety meetings (DDS), proper use of PPE, and accident prevention. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Control and Automation Engineering. * Proven experience in people management, including leadership development, performance monitoring, and leading operational teams. * Strong analytical capability, with expertise in operational data analysis, KPI interpretation, and critical reading of charts for decision-making. * Advanced Excel skills (manipulating databases, pivot tables, comparative analyses, and managerial report creation). * Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Lean Six Sigma certification. * Advanced English for communication with international teams **Preferred Qualifications** * Postgraduate degree in Production Management, Maintenance, or Human Resources. * Demonstrated experience managing production processes or production support areas (Logistics or Maintenance), with a proven track record of improving KPIs and results. * Familiarity with safety guidelines (NR-1) as applied to daily operations.
