Job Summary: Develop solutions, negotiate with suppliers, manage procurement, and ensure achievement of inventory turnover and margin targets in the perishables category. Key Highlights: 1. Monitor orders, delivery deadlines, and quality requirements **Buyer \- DEPARTMENT:** **Perishables – FLV – Organic Leafy Fruits** * Develop solutions requiring new technologies, products, and/or processes directly related to the company's core business activities and/or supporting strategic goal attainment. * Keep the company updated on market trends and emerging technologies/products/processes to transform paradigms or influence strategic directions and decision-making. * Continuously pursue achievement of inventory turnover, margin, and in-store sales targets. * Support proper company operations through control of the merchandise procurement process with suppliers. * Execute merchandise procurement from suppliers, including negotiation and analysis of purchase offers and demands. * Conduct procurement with a constant focus on optimizing cost-benefit ratio for the company, evaluating scenarios and decisions. * Participate in developing the company's supply chain by analyzing potential scenarios and identifying optimal alternatives. * Establish supplier partnerships through supplier development initiatives. * Provide supply alternatives meeting company needs via supplier research and development. * Monitor merchandise purchase orders and compliance with delivery deadlines and quality requirements. * Review and adapt supply contracts regarding content and terms, periodically assessing contract compliance. * Prepare procurement-related management reports and information, conducting data research and performing technical analyses. **Working Hours*** Monday to Thursday: 08:00–12:00 and 13:00–18:00 * Friday: 08:00–12:00 and 13:00–17:00 **Prerequisites*** Bachelor's degree completed, preferably in Business Administration; * Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; * Experience in commercial roles, preferably in food retail; * Willingness to reside in Lajeado/RS.
