Job Summary: The Specialty Buyer will develop innovative solutions, manage the procurement process, monitor suppliers, and optimize the supply chain. Key Highlights: 1. Supply chain optimization **Buyer \- DEPARTMENT: Specialty** * Develop solutions requiring new technologies, products, and/or processes directly related to the company's core business activities and/or supporting strategic business outcomes. * Keep the company updated on market trends and emerging technologies/products/processes to drive paradigm shifts or influence strategic decision-making. * Continuously pursue achievement of inventory turnover, margin, and in-store merchandise sales targets. * Support proper company operations through control of the merchandise procurement process with suppliers. * Execute merchandise procurement from suppliers, including negotiation and analysis of purchase offers and demands. * Conduct procurement activities to consistently achieve optimal cost-benefit ratios for the company by evaluating scenarios and decisions. * Participate in developing the company's supply chain by analyzing possible scenarios and identifying the best alternatives. * Establish partnership-based relationships with merchandise suppliers through their development. * Provide supply alternatives meeting company needs via supplier research and development. * Monitor merchandise purchase orders and ensure timely delivery and compliance with quality requirements. * Analyze and adapt supply contracts regarding content and terms, periodically reviewing contract compliance. * Prepare procurement-related management reports and information, conducting data research and performing technical analyses. **Working Hours*** Monday to Thursday: 08:00–12:00 and 13:00–18:00 * Friday: 08:00–12:00 and 13:00–17:00 **Prerequisites*** Completed undergraduate degree, preferably in Business Administration; * Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; * Experience in commercial roles, preferably in food retail; * Willingness to reside in Lajeado/RS.
