Job Description **Maintaining control records** * Recording laboratory data according to internal protocols; * Regularly updating physical and digital spreadsheets. **Performing sector sanitation** * Cleaning and disinfecting the laboratory environment; * Following established biosafety routines and procedures. **Preparing labels for solutions and reagents** * Accurate identification including name, concentration, preparation date, and expiration date; * Use of specific software (if applicable) or manual labeling. **Waste disposal** * Segregation and disposal of chemical and biological waste in compliance with environmental and safety regulations; * Proper handling of contaminated materials. **Plating and preparing materials for analysis** * Assisting in microbiological plating under technical supervision; * Preparing materials and equipment for laboratory analyses. **Preparing solutions and culture media** * Precise handling and measurement of reagents and compounds; * Proper sterilization and storage of media. **Washing, wrapping, and sterilizing glassware** * Cleaning glassware using appropriate detergents; * Wrapping for autoclaving and sterilization monitoring. Requirements * Completed undergraduate degree or technical diploma in Biology, Pharmacy, Chemistry, and/or Agronomy; * Prior experience in a microbiological analysis laboratory is considered an advantage; * Availability to work from Wednesday to Sunday.
