In this **Senior Software Engineer** role, you will join the Safety Engine team, whose mission is to architect security and moderation solutions protecting the journey of millions of users across the OLX ecosystem. **On a day-to-day basis, you will:** * End-to-end development and influence over solutions; * Collaborate with other engineering teams to build and maintain products, with a focus on our customers; * Prioritize software excellence by combining your technical expertise and experience with proactive problem-solving; * Demonstrate leadership on technical and business topics; * Operate autonomously, taking responsibility for delivering software compliant with complex business rules, high availability, business impact, and scalability to support increasing numbers of users; * Exhibit resilience and adaptability to change; * Make technical decisions based on business and engineering metrics; * Disseminate knowledge and provide mentorship. **Requirements and Qualifications** **What do you need?** * Proficiency in Kotlin and TypeScript. * Experience in cloud-based software development and architecture (preferably AWS); * Application of software development best practices, quality assurance, code standardization, and readability; * Experience developing scalable systems in terms of data, throughput, and complexity; * Experience with testing (unit, integration, end-to-end, UI tests); * Experience with version control (e.g., Git, GitFlow); * Knowledge of observability and monitoring; **Nice-to-have:** * Knowledge of React; * Knowledge of Golang. **Additional Information** **More about the OLX Group:** Operating in Brazil since 2010, the OLX Group aims to empower people to achieve their dreams by reinventing consumption models.
