About the Role We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to directly handle the accounting operations of our distributed generation (DG) solar power plants. This role is strategic in ensuring quality, accuracy, and agility in accounting processes, supporting decision-making and corporate scalability. We seek a solution-oriented, analytical, hands-on professional who can seamlessly navigate between operational routines and continuous process improvement. Main Responsibilities Perform full accounting of solar power plant operations (revenue, costs, expenses, assets, and contracts). Execute and validate monthly accounting closings, ensuring adherence to deadlines and data accuracy. Manage and reconcile accounting accounts related to power plants (fixed assets, contracts, leases, DG revenues, etc.). Ensure correct accounting classification of operational and financial entries. Support the structuring and enhancement of accounting processes linked to O&M operations. Interface with O&M, Finance, Tax, and Controller areas. Conduct variance analysis, identify inconsistencies, and propose solutions. Support internal and external audits. Serve as technical reference for TOTVS Protheus – Accounting / Fixed Assets / Financial modules. **Requirements:** Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Sciences. Solid experience in operational accounting. Experience with accounting closings and reconciliations. Proficiency in TOTVS Protheus (a plus). Analytical, organized, and solution-oriented profile. Ability to handle large volumes of data and multiple CNPJs. Capacity to propose process improvements—not only execute routine tasks. Preferred Qualifications **Prior experience in:** Distributed Generation (DG) or the energy sector. Solar power plant operations / O&M. High-growth or scale-up environments. **Knowledge of:** Power plant fixed assets. DG contracts, recurring revenue, and allocation methodologies.
