Drupal Backend Developer

Job Summary: Dexa is seeking experienced Drupal Backend Developers to build high-performance websites, with a focus on security, performance, and integrations. Key Highlights: 1. Build high-performance and secure Drupal websites. 2. Develop complex Drupal system architectures. 3. Apply continuous improvements and resolve issues on Drupal websites. Development Full-time or Freelance Remote (any location) Dexa is seeking experienced Drupal Backend Developers skilled in building high-performance websites hosted across diverse environments. The candidate must master all development stages—from local installation and configuration to final production deployment. Experience is required in creating content types, taxonomies, forms and their relationships, as well as all configurations related to website security and performance. Integrations with other tools are frequent in projects. The developer must also have experience with content import, web service development, version control, and database management. Understanding of front-end stages in Drupal projects—including associated tools and frameworks—is required. Knowledge of DevOps, the Acquia ecosystem, and CI/CD processes will be part of daily activities. * Advanced knowledge of Drupal APIs: Form API, Field API, and Entities. * Advanced proficiency in PHP (Object-Oriented Programming) and MySQL. * Advanced knowledge of Git. * Familiarity with widely used community modules such as Features, Panels, and Ctools. * Intermediate to advanced knowledge of software architecture. * Intermediate to advanced English proficiency. * Intermediate to advanced knowledge of JavaScript. * Experience with REST Web Services. * Experience with platforms such as Acquia.com, Pantheon.com, or Platform.sh. * Experience with Continuous Integration. * Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and SASS. * Familiarity with JavaScript libraries beyond jQuery. * Knowledge of Linux server configuration. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE * Participate in developing high-traffic, high-availability, multilingual, and transactional Drupal system architectures. * Apply continuous improvements, maintenance, and bug fixes to Drupal websites. * Collaborate closely with the QA team to resolve issues. * Fully participate in regular meetings following the Scrum Framework and team-defined schedules. * Follow established team best practices and development standards.
