Quality Inspector

Description

Job Summary: The professional will be responsible for inspecting, classifying, and ensuring rice quality at all stages, monitoring processes and supporting continuous improvement. Key Highlights: 1. Guarantee of rice conformity and quality standards 2. Monitoring of Quality and Food Safety processes and procedures 3. Support in the development and review of Quality-related documents * Perform incoming inspection of paddy rice (raw material) upon arrival at the plant, evaluating parameters such as moisture content, impurities, pest infestation, and milling yield to ensure compliance with established standards. * Conduct physical classification of rice grains, identifying categories including whole, broken, chalky, stained, red, and moldy grains, in accordance with MAPA Normative Instructions. * Identify and address non-conformities by segregating and recording out-of-specification products, assigning appropriate disposition for reprocessing or rejection, thereby ensuring only quality-compliant products are delivered to consumers. * Develop and maintain up-to-date technical records, including control spreadsheets, reports, and physical-chemical classification certificates. * Monitor Quality and Food Safety processes and procedures, verifying compliance with internal standards and regulations. * Assist in conducting rounds, checklists, and internal audits, contributing also to the development and follow-up of action plans aimed at continuous improvement. * Perform quality tests and cooking trials, evaluating characteristics of the final product. * Provide support to other departments in developing and reviewing documents related to Quality, Food Safety, and Environment. * Track performance indicators related to Quality, Food Safety, and Environment, contributing to result analysis and process improvements. * Carry out activities in compliance with company standards and guidelines, observing Occupational Health and Safety principles, Code of Ethics, and Quality and Food Safety requirements.
