#### **About the position:** Ensure accurate accounting recording and analysis of accounting entries based on actual events, in compliance with current legislation and applicable accounting standards. #### **Main responsibilities:** * Reconcile accounting information across departments; * Analyze and prepare financial statements, forecast taxes, and issue legal documents, identifying potential errors to ensure correct accounting operations; * Prepare monthly trial balances and the annual balance sheet reflecting the company’s financial and patrimonial position, in accordance with current legislation; * Support and assist in internal and external audits by providing records and documentation and clarifying inquiries, ensuring compliance with legal requirements under applicable corporate and tax legislation; * Evaluate, throughout the month, the allocation of accounting entries to ensure proper classification of expenses, costs, revenues, and deductions; * Support other departments in projects involving accounting and tax aspects by analyzing reports/documents and advising on appropriate procedures; * Verify the validity of documentation to be recorded; * Stay up-to-date on accounting standards and ensure their implementation; * Knowledge of accounting recordkeeping according to the Accounting Pronouncements Committee (CPC) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), as well as experience with the real profit and presumed profit taxation regimes; * Preparation of the Digital Accounting Record (ECD) and the Accounting Tax Record (ECF); * Support the analysis and execution of financial statement consolidation; * Support the preparation and analysis of explanatory notes and financial statements; #### **Mandatory requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Sciences; * Experience in corporate accounting areas; * Experience in an accounting firm is desirable; * Intermediate Excel skills; Power BI is desirable; * Experience in system configuration is desirable. #### **Desirable qualifications (differentiators)** Experience in the segment is desirable
