**Details** We are seeking a committed, patient, and passionate **Child Development Assistant** dedicated to working with early childhood. The professional will collaborate with educators in promoting children's holistic development, ensuring a welcoming, safe, and stimulating environment. **Responsibilities** * Assist teachers. * Support experiences that enrich children’s sensory, motor, cognitive, emotional, and social development. * Assist in feeding children according to their age and needs, accompanying them during meals and encouraging autonomy. * Support age-appropriate sleep routines. * Assist during meal times: breakfast, morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack, and dinner. Distribute educational materials. * Accompany children to the bathroom and support their hygiene habits. * Monitor children's arrival and departure together with the Coordinator or Director. * Participate in children's adaptation process alongside the teacher, attending to their individual needs. * Organize, clean, guide, and supervise the proper use of spaces, materials, and toys. * Ensure children's safety and remain attentive to their needs. * Collaborate with the teacher and Coordinator in overall planning: * Participate in pedagogical meetings, training sessions, planning activities, school events, and related experiences. * Participate and stay integrated in all experiences developed by the teacher and classroom team, whether inside or outside the classroom. * Understand, internalize, and implement the Early Childhood Education proposal. **Work Environment** In Early Childhood Education Centers (CEIs), the pedagogical project developed in partnership with Fundação Carlos Chagas and Instituto Girassol–Early Childhood Education and Research is based on the pedagogy of “Caring for / Educating Young Children,” which means providing space, time, and materials that allow children to play, sleep, move, express thoughts and feelings, and gain autonomy.
