We are looking for a qualified professional for the position of Tool Sharpener to join our team at the Caieiras unit. The employee will be responsible for ensuring high precision and quality of the cutting tools used in our industrial processes, directly contributing to production efficiency. Main Responsibilities: Perform sharpening and reconditioning of cutting tools (drills, end mills, saws, etc.), following technical specifications and established procedures. Operate conventional grinding machines and tooling equipment. Carry out setup and adjustment of grinding machines, including wheel balancing and tool replacement. Visually and dimensionally inspect sharpened tools using measuring instruments (micrometer, caliper, profile projector) to ensure compliance with quality standards. Identify wear, anomalies, and the need for tool replacement, reporting to management. Maintain organization and cleanliness of the work area, following 5S practices and safety regulations. Solid proven experience as a Tool Sharpener, preferably in the metal sector. High school diploma (minimum requirement). Professional training in Mechanics, Machining, Metallurgy, or related fields (e.g., SENAI) is desirable. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and tool specifications. Knowledge of measuring instruments. Proactivity, attention to detail, and commitment to quality. Residence in Caieiras will be an advantage.
