Responsible for coordinating and executing import processes, ensuring tax and customs compliance, as well as meeting agreed-upon deadlines and costs. Supports customers, performs document analysis, tax classification, and international shipment management. Interfaces with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and foreign exchange brokers, monitoring the entire process from cargo pickup through customs clearance and nationalization of goods. Prepares preliminary cost estimates, monitors key performance indicators such as demurrage, prepares reports and materials for meetings, and ensures adherence to internal policies, including Transfer Pricing. Join us in growing together and become part of a team that learns collectively, delivers real impact, and celebrates every achievement. **Responsibilities and Duties** The role’s routine includes: \- Supporting customers on import-related matters and addressing their questions. \- Analyzing customs clearance documents (Import Declaration). \- Verifying NCM codes and product descriptions in COMEX systems. \- Identifying tax classification jointly with customs brokers. \- Sending shipping instructions to suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers. \- Analyzing and approving documents for nationalization and shipment in accordance with the issued shipping instructions. \- Requesting issuance of a prior Import License (LI) from the customs broker before shipment, if required. \- Authorizing cargo pickup and shipment by the freight forwarder. \- Monitoring cargo pickup and shipment within the agreed timeframe and in line with the submitted BID value. \- Sending document copies to customs brokers and foreign exchange brokers. \- Coordinating with foreign exchange brokers regarding advance and shipment-against-payment disbursements to foreign suppliers. \- Preparing preliminary cost estimates as close as possible to the actual cost of goods to avoid material cost distortion. \- Coordinating domestic transportation between port/airport and factory. \- Intercompany Reports. \- Preparing materials for monthly COMEX meetings and customer accountability sessions. \- Participating in weekly meetings; \- Managing and reducing demurrage, tracking total container dwell time until return to terminal. \- Analyzing cases that generated demurrage to identify responsibilities. \- Preparing pre-shipment documentation. \- Monitoring loading at the factory, international shipment, and customs clearance of goods. \- Tracking receipt of service providers’ accountability reports. \- Conducting follow-ups on processes. \- Holding weekly meetings with vertical teams and factories. \- Verifying compliance with Transfer Pricing requirements. \- Completing input follow-up process documentation. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Focus and discipline in managing and executing daily tasks. * Strong communication skills. * Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment. * Negotiation skills. \- Comfort interacting across various hierarchical levels.
