The kitchen assistant’s mission is to ensure food quality and safety for patients and staff. **Responsibilities and Duties** Prepare food according to the nutritionist’s instructions, ensuring food quality and safety; Assist with sanitation and organization of the kitchen, utensils, and equipment; Perform food pre\-preparation tasks, such as washing, peeling, and cutting fruits, vegetables, and greens; Assemble meal trays and distribute meals according to prescribed diets; Monitor food temperatures and record required information; Restock food items and utensils at distribution locations; Follow food hygiene and safety standards, including proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment); Collaborate on kitchen and workplace cleaning and organization; Assist with receiving and storing food and supplies; Participate in training and capacity-building programs related to the role. **Requirements and Qualifications** Completed elementary education.
