Job Summary: A professional responsible for managing and optimizing the entire procurement cycle—from supplier prospecting and negotiation to ensuring continuous supply and cost reduction—while guaranteeing quality and strategic alignment. Active participation in continuous improvement projects Ensures implementation of corporate guidelines, policies, and strategies related to Procurement activities within the department; Follows internally established procurement procedures and proposes improvements; Prepares all quotations, budgets, and purchase negotiations, identifying alternatives that improve cost-effectiveness based on raw material inventory analysis and price maps, ensuring continuous supply and minimal financial storage costs. Researches supplier information sources; investigates supplier references; requests samples or catalogs of materials or services; registers suppliers; updates supplier registration records; forwards materials or services for testing; proposes development of new or alternative materials; evaluates supplier performance. Conducts supplier qualification and maintains updated and organized documentation. Validates completion of the supplier delivery evaluation spreadsheet and provides feedback to suppliers. Supplies all company departments with procurement-related demands—either through monitoring unit inventory positions or in response to specific requests. Ensures alignment meetings with suppliers to communicate company information, requirements, and strengthen relationships. Takes action aimed at improving company cash flow quality. Records, monitors, and critically analyzes global targets and quality management system indicators, promptly initiating corrective and improvement actions in coordination with the immediate manager. Prepares price variation reports and other reports requested by management. Communicates procurement execution status, raw material shortages, or atypical situations to relevant departments. Participates in and/or implements low-to-medium complexity projects with innovation, aiming for continuous improvement and cost reduction. Analyzes and corrects cost prices in the current system. Attends high-level management meetings whenever necessary for decision-making. Updates minimum and maximum inventory levels according to defined periodicity. Qualifications: Advanced computer skills; knowledge across the entire supply chain department, especially regarding general procurement matters, lead time (delivery and product release times), traceability processes, and negotiation techniques. Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 7:00 AM to 4:48 PM with a 1-hour break.
