Come be part of this community! **Your main responsibilities will include:** * Planning, developing, and optimizing iron ore beneficiation processes over medium- and long-term horizons—from project conception through implementation; * Interfacing with engineering, operations, maintenance, production planning, geology, mining planning, and R&D departments—and actively participating in technical feasibility studies and innovative technology development; * Developing and reviewing process flow diagrams, mass balances, and technical specifications; * Defining design criteria, equipment sizing, and process requirements; * Participating in feasibility studies (conceptual, pre-detailed, and detailed); * Conducting laboratory, pilot-scale, and industrial-scale tests to support engineering decisions; * Monitoring commissioning, start-up, and ramp-up of new plants and modifications; * Developing and validating process simulation models (e.g., Usimpac, MetSim, JKSimmet, etc.); * Performing comparative operational scenario analyses and proposing optimizations; * Simulating plant performance and developing supply plans aligned with ROM quality; * Supporting long-term planning through capacity and bottleneck analyses; * Working on innovation projects targeting performance improvement, energy efficiency, cost reduction, and sustainability; * Conducting experimental studies involving crushing, flotation, magnetic separation, classification, comminution, and filtration; * Collaborating with universities, research centers, and technology suppliers; * Preparing technical reports and presenting results; * Monitoring and diagnosing technical issues in chronic beneficiation stages; * Proposing continuous improvement actions and solutions for chronic process problems; * Training teams on beneficiation fundamentals and best practices; * Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards; * Participating in process audits and inspections; * Contributing to standardization of KPIs, procedures, and process engineering methodologies; **For this position, we expect you to have:** * Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and/or Production Engineering and/or related fields; * Greenfield and brownfield project experience is desirable; * Experience with process and production simulations is desirable; * Experience in Research, Development, and Innovation (R&D) is desirable; * Knowledge of or experience with ISO 14001: Environmental Management Systems (EMS) is desirable.
