We strive to make Globo increasingly diverse—in representation and thought—learning from each other and encouraging creativity and innovation. **Responsibilities and Duties** **Your typical day will include:** * Working on outdoor shoots and events involving low-complexity systems; * Requesting, verifying, packing, and organizing required equipment in the vehicle transporting the crew to filming locations, and driving the vehicle to designated locations; * Preparing, testing, and ensuring proper operation of cameras and accessories, camera movement equipment (dollies, cranes, traveling rigs, tracks, platforms, and steadies), and audio/video equipment (monitors, converters, transmitters) in studios, on location, or on set, according to production requirements for scene capture; * Installing and replacing camera lenses, filters, and matte boxes upon request by the Director of Photography, Camera Operator, Program Director, or Technology Supervisor; * Operating camera movement equipment while ensuring full stability and safety for both equipment and personnel involved; * Assisting the Camera Operator in moving cameras and cables during recordings and adjusting framing as needed to achieve optimal takes; * Configuring, testing, and operating microphones according to each project’s requirements, positioning them in the most suitable locations and/or positions; * Preparing lighting equipment on filming sets to enable high-quality technical image capture—whether in studio, on location, or on set—using reflectors, bounce boards, filters, diffusers, balloons, and operating/using studio lighting systems (Dimmer/Hoist/IP Lighting Network, redundancy systems, etc.), including their features and potential issues, transporting, maneuvering, and operating them per instructions from the Gaffer, Lighting Technician, Assistant Director of Photography, or Director of Photography; * Programming and operating lighting fixture positioning and dimming controls, fine-tuning and equalizing stage lighting according to the lighting plan previously established by the Lighting Technician, Assistant Director of Photography, and/or Director of Photography, ensuring optimal artistic image capture on filming sets; * Maintaining responsibility for equipment under your care—including cameras, lenses, dollies, steadies, cranes, monitors, reflectors, bounce boards, filters, diffusers, balloons, pantograph platforms, fog machines, etc.—throughout your entire activity until returning them to the warehouse, reporting any irregularities requiring technical support or maintenance to the Specialist or Operational Unit Supervisor, thereby ensuring equipment longevity and mitigating operational risks. **Requirements and Qualifications** **What you need:** * Completed high school education; * Technical degree in: Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Electrotechnics, Telecommunications, Mechanics; or incomplete undergraduate degree in Audiovisual. **Additional Information** **Why join Globo:** Come and let’s create stories and technologies together.
