We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our Data & Analytics team, directly contributing to building modern, scalable, and data-driven solutions. Responsibilities: ✔ Develop and optimize high-performance, scalable batch data pipelines for ingestion of structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data into a Data Lake (GCS); ✔ Develop and manage ETL/ELT processes using Spark and SQL, populating Trusted (Silver) and Refined (Gold) layers in a Data Warehouse (BigQuery); ✔ Consolidate and model data from internal and external sources to enable Analytics, BI, Data Science, GenAI, and Data Product initiatives; ✔ Build data streaming integrations for ingestion and processing on GCP; ✔ Design and implement efficient data architectures, with emphasis on performance, scalability, and cost optimization; ✔ Implement business rules within data transformation processes to generate reliable datasets; ✔ Create and maintain Data Quality, Data Assurance, data lineage, and data versioning processes; ✔ Serve as a technical reference, supporting architectural decisions and innovative team initiatives. Requirements: ✔ Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Technology, Data, or related fields; ✔ Solid experience with Python and Spark/SQL; ✔ Experience with CI/CD practices, preferably using GitHub; ✔ Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including GCS and BigQuery; ✔ Experience with data orchestration tools such as Airflow or Prefect; ✔ Hands-on experience with data streaming technologies such as Pub/Sub or Azure Functions; ✔ Knowledge of Data Modeling using the Medallion methodology. Preferred Qualifications: ✔ Experience in Analytics, Data Science, or GenAI projects; ✔ Experience in large-scale data environments; ✔ Knowledge of cloud cost optimization.
