Contribution to efficient route planning and fleet sizing #### **About the Role:** The Monitoring Operator will be responsible for real-time monitoring of the company’s and third-party vehicle fleets, using tracking systems, telemetry, and transportation applications. This role involves supervising planned routes, ensuring adherence to loading and unloading schedules, as well as identifying and intervening in risky or unexpected situations during trips. The operator will serve as a constant communication link between drivers and internal departments, delivering operational support, activating safety protocols, and reporting incidents to logistics, sales, customer service (SAC), and maintenance teams. Additionally, the operator will contribute to planning more efficient routes and determining the optimal fleet size required to meet daily and seasonal demand. #### **Main Responsibilities:** Monitor the fleet using tracking systems, telemetry, and transportation applications. Verify vehicle locations, trip statuses, and compliance with planned routes. Identify route deviations, unscheduled stops, or delays. Respond immediately to risk situations (theft, accidents, mechanical failures). Activate safety protocols and contingency plans. Record and report incidents to responsible departments. Maintain constant contact with drivers during trips. Provide guidance on routes, stop points, traffic restrictions, and schedule changes. Support drivers during unforeseen events (traffic congestion, highway blockages, accidents). Ensure vehicles comply with loading and unloading schedules. Monitor dwell time at customer locations and support points. Notify operations and sales teams in case of delays. Update the system with incident information, travel times, and delivery statuses. Report information to logistics, customer service (SAC), sales, and maintenance teams. Support the traffic team in making real-time decisions. Provide feedback for more efficient route planning. Verify departure of loaded vehicles. Monitor both owned and third-party fleets, ensuring vehicles are ready for operation, and keeping the transportation manager and carrier representatives informed regarding vehicles under maintenance, documentation status, and driver availability. * Determine the number of vehicles required to meet daily and seasonal demand. #### **Desirable Qualifications (Preferred):** * Completed high school education (technical or higher education in Logistics, Administration, or related fields is preferred). * Prior experience in fleet monitoring, logistics, or transportation operations. * Familiarity with tracking systems, telemetry, and transportation applications. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to analyze situations quickly and make decisions under pressure. * Organizational skills and attention to detail. * Ability to work collaboratively and interact effectively across various company departments. #### **Benefits:** Family Assistance Network Comprehensive support for you and your loved ones — because well-being begins at home.
