Then join us in **CO-CREATING** as a **Backend Developer III**! **Your day-to-day challenges will include:** * Leading the development and maintenance of advanced routines in projects involving Python-based data ingestion backends, data operations and machine learning, APIs, web portals, and applications; * Collaborating in technical system architecture discussions and proposing solutions for complex challenges; * Designing, developing, and evolving robust applications following best software engineering practices; * Developing and maintaining APIs to provide data for internal and external consumption; * Integrating and applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) models to collected data, generating insights and optimizing processes; * Acting as a reference and support for the team by conducting code reviews, sharing knowledge, and disseminating software engineering best practices; * Ensuring application quality, scalability, security, and observability. **We are looking for someone with:** * Completed undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields; * Availability for hybrid work in Campinas; * Solid, proven experience as a backend developer, especially in Python and other programming languages; * Prior experience in Data Science and AI / Machine Learning projects and teams; * Strong foundation in Software Engineering disciplines, development best practices and security (Architecture, Clean Code, Design Patterns, SOLID); * Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs for data exposure; * Practical knowledge of relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) database modeling; * Hands-on experience with version control systems (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban); * Experience with cloud computing platforms and environment configuration (AWS, Azure, or GCP), DevOps, Docker, and Kubernetes; * Knowledge of microservices architecture and messaging systems; * Clear communication skills, collaborative and proactive attitude, delivery focus, curiosity, and eagerness to learn new technologies. **Nice-to-have qualifications:** * Knowledge of data pipeline processing and structuring, and orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow; * Experience with distributed data processing (Apache Spark, Databricks); * Knowledge of MCP server implementation; * Familiarity with search engines and search mechanisms (Typesense, Elasticsearch). **What CPQD offers:** * Daycare or babysitter allowance; * Unimed health insurance; * Uniodonto dental insurance; * Vidalink medication allowance; * Meal/food voucher; * Life insurance; * Pet health plan; * Vacation bonus above market standards; * Private pension plan; * WellHub; * Commuter bus service; * Free parking; * Payroll-deductible loan; * Birthday day off; * Holiday extensions; * Citizen company: extended maternity and paternity leave; * Postgraduate support program; * Partnerships and agreements: facilitating options for health, leisure, culture, and education; * Internal programs: focused on development and well-being.
