This **Laboratory Analyst I** opportunity will be to work at our unit in **Capão da Canoa \- Litoral/RS.** **Your main responsibilities will be:** Perform analysis of biological samples and critical interpretation of results for issuing reports, as well as carry out maintenance and control equipment quality. You will also be responsible for recording laboratory procedures and routines, supporting the team in other area activities, always promoting a culture of quality and patient safety. Apply for this opportunity! **Responsibilities and duties** * Analyze biological samples for test execution. * Perform critical analysis of results for report release. * Carry out periodic and corrective maintenance on equipment. * Control equipment quality by analyzing graphs, statistical data, and performing tests to implement quality control standards and ensure result accuracy. * Record procedures and routines for result control purposes, as well as record laboratory equipment temperature and maintenance. * Request materials, supplies, and reagents for the department, managing inventory to prevent shortages and waste. * Develop and review SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) using routine descriptions and bibliographic references to standardize team activities. * Train new department staff, maintaining standardized activity execution. * Communicate critical results to attending physicians, providing technical support and clarifications on matters related to the laboratory field. * Identify cases requiring sample recollection, communicating with the patient or responsible party. * Develop, document, and disseminate routines aligned with patient quality and safety culture. * Perform validation of techniques, tests, and equipment. * Validate configurations, integrations, or customizations of defined system standards related to your area of responsibility. * Stay updated on legal and methodological changes, complying with sanitary regulations, their versions, and relevant supplements. * Support more experienced colleagues in other department activities. **Requirements and qualifications** **Education required for this position:** * Completed bachelor's degree in Biochemical Pharmacy or Biomedicine. **Qualifications:** * Experience in clinical analysis laboratories. * Availability to work in our Capão da Canoa unit during afternoon/evening shifts. **Additional information** **We are a team passionate about caring for people — and we do it purposefully, dedicatedly, and with passion in our eyes!** We are **PENTA GPTW** and ranked among the best: **7th best company to work for in RS**!
