Description: * Technical competence in applying standards related to MPD installations and equipment: API-6A, API SPEC 5L, ASME B31.3, ANSI/NACE MR 0175/ISO 15156, API SPEC 17K, API RP 7K, API SPEC 16D, API SPEC Q1, API RP 92M, API SPEC 16 RCD, among others. * Knowledge of MPD with experience in rig-up and operation of MPD systems; * Knowledge of conventional well drilling and MPD (surface back-pressure, PMCD, and FMCD); * Strong project management capability; * Well control knowledge is an advantage; * Availability for occasional offshore assignments; * Advanced English proficiency; * Evaluation of technical specifications and contractual requirements for MPD equipment; * Critical analysis of current installations and identification of gaps between specifications and existing equipment; * Specification of equipment and interaction with manufacturers during procurement or adaptation of MPD systems; * Management of unit adaptation projects, including at minimum: definition of key tasks, schedule monitoring, facilitation of internal and external progress meetings; * Development/review of procedures related to MPD equipment installation (integrated joints, hoses, swivels, etc.) and operation of equipment under the drilling contractor’s responsibility (integrated joints, HPU, umbilicals, etc.); * Development/review of interface procedures between the rig and service companies for activities involving rig interface, e.g., pump run-in/run-out, connections, dynamic flow check, influx circulation, operational mode changes, etc.; * Development/review of contingency procedures serving as the basis for team training to handle abnormal situations; * Participation in operational planning meetings with the client and consolidation of relevant information for rig preparation; * Investigation of incidents related to MPD operations; * Coordination of MPD operational planning and after-action reviews; dissemination of best practices and incorporation into procedures, aiming at continuous improvement of operations from safety and performance perspectives; * Leading, with support from MPD tool pushers, the processes for developing unit-level risk analyses and operation-specific risk analyses; * Conducting workshops and training sessions with drilling teams to disseminate procedures and best practices; * Coordination of resolution of outstanding issues related to MPD systems; * Remote monitoring of MPD operations and discussion of key points with MPD tool pushers; * On-site supervision of special operations and first operations; 2512190202551926906
