Join\-us at Nexa and be part of a mining company that moves with the world! \#womeninmining **Responsibilities and attributions** * Become fully informed about the tasks to be performed for the operation of the filtration process at the processing plant during your working hours, according to instructions and schedules provided by your immediate supervisor; * Carry out operational activities and control of the tailings filtration equipment, from the tailings and talc thickeners to the storage and transportation of produced tailings, always ensuring sufficient space in the storage bays; * Operate the mineral processing plant equipment in accordance with operational procedures to achieve production targets while adhering to the Unit's safety and environmental policies. **Requirements and qualifications** **Required qualifications:** * Completed High School education. * Ability to perform routine inspections and complete operational checklists. * Basic knowledge of operational safety and good practices in industrial environments. * Availability to work in shifts/schedules. **Preferred qualifications:** * Technical course (in progress or completed) in Mining, Mineral Processing, Metallurgy, Chemistry, or related fields. * Knowledge of operational parameters such as particle size, pulp density, circulating load, and energy consumption. * Valid driver's license. **Skills and competencies:** * Attention to detail and ability to identify operational anomalies. * Focus on safety and operational discipline. * Strong communication skills for logging and reporting incidents. * Teamwork and collaboration with maintenance and other process areas. * Proactivity and responsibility toward final product quality. **Additional information** ***Nexa believes in fostering a diverse environment where everyone feels welcome and comfortable being themselves.*** We are one of the largest zinc producers in the world!
